Notice that this hole contains a Nimphea Sylvis and many "worms"; one of them is clearly elevating from the ground in a standing position, as is clearly visible by the shadows it casts, shown in the enlargement below. |

Looking at the image, is evident that there is some kind of material covering the ground, and that is either melting or sublimating, showing the terrain below. It seems to be present in huge quantiry, and in form of a thick film. |

This other hole contains a Nimphea Sylvis
too, and it's evident that is still partially covered. Seems that the
substance that constitutes the "film layer" has an high
consistence. The hole is hundreds meters wide, and the substance can
substain itself without problems.
