A Roof on Mars

This hole (or lair) is covered by a kind of shield, a sort of roof elevating for tens of meters over it, and clearly made to give some shelter below.

There is no way for this to be produced by geological processes. All the other holes in the surroundings are standard.

Notice the exagonal shape of the hole, similar to this other image (showing an empty hole).

This other image shows something that could be the shield flat on hole's ground. There is something below, that could be the creature that produced the shield.
