Ok. A big chunk of this hill is missing: take a look at the full map of the area and tell me where all the missing stuff did go?

There is no track of a place where all this material could have gone; except in the buildings themself. 

Remember: no rain, no erosion. We are in the middle of a plain, and this hill is alone for miles and miles (see below)
