Okay, I found a reference to one of these other, shadowy Bingham Groups, and this is from 2003, long after "Mark Bingham's" Bingham Group ceased.

In fact, the whole piece at that link centers around the GOP, and talks about various donors and so forth. This is very interesting. It seems like there is a big web of Bingham Groups.
